Kamaz raises Jan–Sep output 15% to 26,500 vehicles, assembly kits
MOSCOW, Oct 9 (PRIME) -- Russia’s largest truck producer Kamaz has raised its production by 15% on the year to 26,500 vehicles and vehicle assembly kits in January–September, the company said in a statement on Monday.
“Facilities of Kamaz’ unified technological cycle produced 3,884 assembly kits in September. In total, production reached 26,500 units since the beginning of the year, up 15% compared with the first nine months of last year,” the company said.
“The engine plant and the Kamminz Kama joint venture produced and unloaded more than 4,000 engines and power units to consumers in September. In the three quarters, the production output exceeded 28,000 units, which is a 12% compared with the same period of last year.”
Kamaz also sold 16.85 billion rubles of spare parts to dealers, service centers, corporate clients and other consumers in January–September, up 64% on the year, the company said.
